Pretty standard sewing stuff, copied and cut out the pattern (though it turned out a little small somehow?) and cut out the fabric from this cute flowery fat quarter.
I don't have a ton of experience with ruffles at this scale, and I expected to struggle a lot with making the ruffles. Somehow it wasn't actually that bad, though? I think the ruffles at the front could have been done a bit better, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
I've included a photo of the inside... I don't have an interlocker, but I've been working on making the inside of my projects as neat and tidy as possible. This is probably my best work yet!
The final shirt came out a little smaller than it was supposed to, but I'm fine with that because it still looks quite nice. The original design had small beads running down the front of the yoke and closed in the back with buttons, but I've left out the beads and opted to use a velcro closure instead. I'm not actually fond of using velcro on doll clothes (I much prefer buttons or snaps) but I couldn't find my small snaps and the velcro worked nicely in place of the buttons due to the design.
